Biography
Nurdana has been playing the violin since the age of 7 and studied at the Republican Middle Specialized Musical Hostel School for Gifted Children in Kazakhstan. After graduation she entered the M.I. Glinka Novosibirsk Conservatory Bachelor's Degree in the class of Professor Mikhail Turich. During her studies she has won prizes at international competitions:
* X Krasnoyarsk International Music and Theatre Competition "HOPE" (Second Prize)
* Novosibirsk VI Open Competition for Young Musicians - String Players, "West East Siberia" (Second Prize)
* Novosibirsk VII International Competition for Young Violinists (Special Audience Prize)
She has soloed with the following orchestras:
* Novosibirsk Chamber Orchestra 2016-2021
* The Astana Symphony Orchestra 2017
* Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra 2021
* Dubai Symphony Orchestra 2021
From 2015 to 2021, she was concertmaster of Novosibirsk Camerata Chamber Orchestra and First violin in Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra.
From 2016 to 2021, she worked as First violin of Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
She has collaborated with the following conductors: Kent Nagano, Kazuki Yamada, Kristjan Jarvi, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Vladimir Jurowsky, Mariss Jansons, Felix Korobov, Yuri Temirkanov, Charles Dutoit, Teodor Currentzis.
In June 2023, she successfully graduated with a Master of Arts in Musical Performance (Violin) from HEMU (Haute École de Musique Lausanne), guided by Professors Ilya Gringolts, Yuuki Wong, and Tomo Keller.
She has also been invited to participate in several internships and festivals in Switzerland, such as the Sinfonie Orchester Biel Solothurn (TOBS), the Sinfonietta de Lausanne and the Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy.
She has also participated in masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Zahar Bron, Boris Kuschnir, Maxim Vengerov, Daniel Hope, Sergey Krylov, Sergey Khachatryan, and Gyula Stuller.
In 2023, she earned her music therapy certification from Berklee College of Music.
